Impedance Eigenvalues in Linear Elasticity

This paper is devoted to studying impedance eigenvalues (that is, of a particular Dirichlet-to-Neumann map) for the time harmonic linear elastic wave problem, and their potential use as target-signatures fluid-solid interaction problems. We first consider several possible families elasticity focusing on certain that are an analogue Steklov eigenvalues. show one these arises naturally in inverse scattering. also analyse approximation from far field measurements scattered pressure fluid, illustrate alternative methods case isotropic disk.
